Scrase Built is a design-led commercial construction company delivering complex, high-quality build outcomes across the South West of Western Australia. From hospitality, retail and office fit-outs through to industrial facilities, rural and agribusiness builds, civic infrastructure and mixed-use developments, we partner with architects, designers, developers and owners to bring considered commercial spaces to life.
Headquartered in Dunsborough and operating across the South West from Augusta to Bunbury, we bring an acute attention to detail and a progressive approach to programme, procurement and delivery — setting the benchmark for commercial construction in South West WA.

Every Scrase Built project begins with a partnership. We engage early — alongside architects, project
managers, consultants and end users — to interrogate the brief, pressure-test the design, and align
programme, budget and buildability before a single tool is picked up.
Our preferred model is open-book and transparent. Clients see every cost, every trade and every
decision, with no surprises through the construction phase.
02 — Build
Craft at
commercial scale.
We treat commercial construction with the same care residential builders reserve for a family home.
Trades are hand-picked and held to a higher standard. Programmes are managed daily, not weekly. Quality
is signed off line by line, not at handover.
The result is a finished space that reads as considered — joinery that lines through, services that
disappear, finishes that stand up to commercial use without losing their refinement.
03 — Deliver
A space that
performs.
A commercial building has to earn its keep. We deliver projects that open on time, run efficiently,
and continue to perform years after handover — through robust documentation, considered material
selection and a defects period that we treat as a continuation of the build, not the end of it.
Many of our clients return for their second, third and fourth project. That’s the measure we hold
ourselves to.

Scrase Built was founded by Andrew Scrase, a Dunsborough-based builder with two decades of experience across residential, commercial
and development construction in Western Australia.
Having grown the Scrase Group from a single residential brand into a multi-disciplinary construction and development company, Andrew
brings a developer’s commercial instinct, a builder’s site discipline, and a designer’s eye for detail to every Scrase Built project.
The team around him has been hand-picked over years — site managers, estimators, contract administrators and trades who share the same
standard. It’s a small studio by intention. Every project carries Andrew’s name on it.
